Discovering the Ultimate Pain Relief Tool

As a chiropractic physician, I’ve watched methods in clinical environments adapt and change in reaction to experience gained by daily observation of patient responses to treatment. I began as a preceptor working with professional athletes in the San Francisco Bay area. This transitioned into my own practice running a health and fitness program for IndyCar open wheel racing series and caring for some of the biggest names in professional football, baseball, basketball, and other elite athletes. Practice today is a thriving Indianapolis health center with chiropractors, therapists and personal trainers addressing health and wellness from many perspectives.

Introduced to the Fuzion Pro in 2007, we utilize the instruments in clinical application for athletes and general patient base. Although there are other scraping tools out there, I find the Prodigy and Pro unique in design, applications, and ergonomics. Early in my practice, soft tissue therapy consisted of on-site massage therapist services. Though patients responded well to adjustments, they would frequently return to have the same conditions and clinical findings addressed. By adding a master’s level athletic trainer certified in Fuzion protocols, patients got well faster, holding their adjustments better. This improved their experience so much that increased referrals created more demand for services. Pairing the breaking down of old adhesion and scar formation with the re-education of healing tissue, in addition to the adjustments, has been a winning combination.

After more than 20 years using physically demanding techniques resulting in evenings of sore, swollen hands and wrists epidemic in hands-on healing arts, solutions that reduce stress on these overworked joints are welcomed. The Fuzion Pro and Prodigy designs are unique to the contour of the hand. The variety of surfaces on the tools reduce stress on the hand and wrist while offering greater therapeutic benefit to the
patient.

Fuzion instruments are being used with many professional sports athletic training programs now and are of significant value in the treatment and care athletes. Whether simply sore from training, injured in a game, or trying to improve mobility and strength, the tools are essential equipment for training room doctors and therapists.

For patients with chronic soft tissue conditions resulting from mismanaged injury, repetitive stress injuries, or adhesions and tissue irregularity, the tools offer significant advantage over many traditional measures for both patient and treating practitioner. The tools’ surfaces, shapes and contours allow the practitioner to attack targeted tissue using different therapeutic methodologies.

Acute conditions are often contraindicated with scraping techniques, but Fuzion tools allow therapeutic service and realized benefit due to their fluid mobilization and smoother surfaces.

The advantages of Fuzion Pro and Prodigy are numerous. The multitude of therapeutic modalities that can be applied using these tools far exceed those of other scraping tools and soft tissue therapy equipment.
